Plumstead Civic Ratepayers Association (PCRA)
The primary purpose of the PCRA is to represent the interests of property owners and ratepayers in Plumstead. The association’s main objectives are to:
Advocate for and protect the interests of property owners and ratepayers by ensuring that their voices are heard and their concerns are addressed.
Promote transparency and accountability by scrutinizing local government decisions, policies, and actions to ensure that they are transparent, accountable, and in the best interests of ratepayers.
Promoting a sense of community ownership and responsibility by encouraging ratepayers to participate in local decision-making processes.
Provide information to keep ratepayers informed about local issues, policies, and initiatives that affect their properties and the community.
Identify and address specific issues affecting ratepayers, such as infrastructure, public services, and environmental concerns.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with local government officials, councillors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Represent ratepayers in policy-making and provide input on matters that impact ratepayers, such as taxation, zoning, and land use planning.
